Cookie Policy
Essential cookies only. Nothing that tracks or profiles you.
This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy. Terms defined there have the same meaning here.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are typically used to help a website work properly, for example by remembering the visitors’ preferences, and to allow the website operator to understand how it is used. There are other technologies (pixels, web beacons and local storage) that work in the same way. We call all of them “cookies” here.
Cookies can also be used for other purposes, for example to identify which website you visit and track your online journey, analyze your interests and preferences, and to target you with ads and promotions. We do not use cookies for such purposes, and we keep our use of them deliberately small.
2. The cookies we use
We use only strictly necessary cookies that are essential for the proper functioning of the Platform. We do not use analytics cookies, because our analytics is cookieless. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies of any kind. For these reasons, there is no consent banner to click through on the Platform.
| Type | Purpose | Examples | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep the site secure and running: bot mitigation, load balancing and the contact form’s spam check | Cloudflare __cf_bm, cf_clearance; Cloudflare Turnstile operational tokens | Session to about 12 months |
What we deliberately do not set:
- Analytics cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. It sets nothing on your device.
- Marketing or advertising cookies. No Meta Pixel, no Google Ads, no retargeting, no audience profiling.
- Third-party preference cookies. We self-host our fonts, so no font service ever sees your device.
3. Your choices
Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising under the CCPA. We do not sell or share for ads in the first place.
Browser settings. You can control or delete cookies in your browser. Because we only set strictly necessary cookies, blocking them may stop parts of the Platform (like the contact form’s spam check) from working and this may adversely affect your user experience. For instructions on how to change the cookie settings of your browser, check the relevant publisher, e.g. Google, Mozilla, Apple, and Microsoft.
Do Not Track (DNT). We honor GPC. We do not respond to browser DNT signals, because there is no agreed standard for them.
4. Third-party cookies
A few cookies are set by services we use rather than by us. We do not control them.
- Cloudflare (hosting, security and cookieless analytics): see the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Stripe (payment processing, once payments are live on the Platform): stripe.com/privacy.
5. Updates
We will update this Cookie Policy whenever we add or remove a cookie, or change how we use a cookie, and post the change here with a revised effective date.
6. Contact
If you have any questions about cookies on the Platform, please email us: [email protected].
